Introducing the P3 Charging Index US – Comparison of the fast-charging capability of electric vehicles

Since 2019, P3 has published three reports for the European market on the long-distance suitability of all-electric vehicles. In that time, the P3 Charging Index (P3CI) has established itself as an independent standardization in the German and European EV market. In 2023, P3 is publishing its first P3 Charging Index in the United States to target the US audience.

By analyzing consumption data and charging curves, the P3CI accurately determines the time it takes to replenish a vehicle’s range in miles, offering invaluable insights for everyday usage and long-distance journeys.
